Fees for the new term need to be paid as soon as possible to Lorraine, please make sure you get a receipt on payment. Thank you. (Cheques payable to “Lincoln Shotokai”) Grading Well done to you all, you all did a great job and should be very proud of yourselves. You will find that you will not always get graded... this doesn’t mean that you are not good enough it just means it takes longer to learn the skills needed to progress and everyone learns at different rates. Don’t forget the higher your grade the more difficult it becomes, your karate journey will not stop at being a black belt. These are life skills. Thank you’s Big thank you to Tim Barbary, who came up to grade everyone; he came all the way from Ascot as he does for most of our gradings, we appreciate his commitment and dedication to our club. Big thank you goes to Annette also; you will have noticed that Annette is not about as much now due to work commitments, she has a new job, which she thoroughly deserves and as well as wishing her well it is down to her dedication and hard work that Lincoln Shotokai is such a great club, everyone that instructs you has been trained mainly by her and we can only hope to carry on the great job that she has done. Autumn Camp Autumn camp this year is in Swansea and will be held on 12th & 13th November, this is an adult course and if anyone is interested please see Annette or I for details. New Members If anyone has any friends or knows of anyone who would like to come and join us, please invite them along, their 1st 2 sessions will be free. If you want any flyers to hand out to anyone please see Lorraine. Karate Etiquette Please note that as soon as you enter the dojo (hall) your session has already started, we want to see you warming up straight away and not sitting on the side talking, we want you to get the most out of each session so use this time wisely and start to train your bodies. Any questions or queries or issues please do not hesitate to see Annette or you can contact her on: 01522 720496 or see Lorraine or contact her on: 01522 595665
